BOSTON WILL BE HOME TO A COW PARTY
CowParade Boston to Start in Summer ’06

BOSTON – Boston’s history, culture and scenery makes it a wonderful destination and this summer it will be even better. Visitors to Boston will be able take a stroll through history on the Freedom Trail but also on a cow path when CowParade Boston kicks off in June 2006.

Throughout the summer, Boston’s urban landscape will be reminiscent of the city’s pastoral beginnings when the world’s largest and most popular public art event comes to Boston. This "udderly" unique experience will feature nearly 200 life-sized cows, painted and created by local and national artists, grazing the streets and public areas of Boston for all to enjoy. The cows will fill Boston’s parks, plazas and streets all to benefit the Jimmy Fund of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
